Loick Essien - If You Ever Leave

Loick Essien is a 19 year old artist from London and just came out with his first CD in 2010. He has collaborated with UK artists known as Chipmunk and N-Dubz. The UK has some pretty good R&B artists out and that's why I feel it is important to use this space to promote them. Their DJ's/music producers come out with some very interesting beats. The beat to this song is from something I've heard before .... can't put my finger on it...regardless, it's great!!

Nicki Minaj - Moment 4 Life ft. Drake (song w/ lyrics)

This song isn't brand new but newer. Came out in 2010 and features...in my opinion...the best hip hop artist alive and rapping right now, DRAKE!!! The video is in the mix and being made right now so as soon as it comes out or I can get it I'll post it. I figured you should at least embrace the sounds of these two icons for the time being!!! Bon Appetite!!! 

Chrishan - Where Are You Going? (song)

Chrishan is one of my favorite "not so known" music producers/performers that I have recently found in the past couple years. His style is edgy but can be soft on some of his slower songs. He really shows his pain and frustration with his relationships in his songs by the words he chooses and portrays his emotional side on the ballads. He has been singing/playin music since he was 2 years old and runs his fathers state of the art music facility. He has put out a mixtape and a full length album so far and is working on another album now. He is having great success working with Drake and several other known artists. Check out a couple of the songs I like the most below.

Benny Benassi - Electroman ft. T-Pain

Benny Benassi is an Italian music producer and DJ. He is sort of an easy, elektro, house style of music and is topping charts in the UK with his smooth style. This song features an artist we all know, T-Pain and is a new blend of T-Pain's auto-tune ability and house music. Check it because I think it's great!!!

Kevin McCall - Freaky I Iz ft. Diesel & Chris Brown

Kevin McCall's career is about to get much bigger being that he has produced 2 albums/mixtapes for Chris Brown called Fan of a Fan and In the Zone. Trust me when I say his best has yet to come. He is a producer, singer, rapper, he does it all. Just listen for him....You will hear about him some more in 2011!!!!!

Chris Holloway - "Changes" and "Mercury"

Chris Holloway is someone I just discovered and is already one of my favorite R&B artists out right now. His voice is really good and his style of music is so fluid. His producer now is the former producer for DJ Envy. He has opened up for artists in the Houston area during 2009 nine such as Trae and Slim Thug. Chris is actually from Philly so for those of my friends reading this....Let's just excuse that small fact about him LOL! Check out the two songs below...As far as I know they were just released on the sites I get them this week. They are very good and very different!!

Jodie Connor ft. Wiley - Now or Never (video)

Ok...This has been a slow week or so ..... not to say that Jodie Connor is less of an example of an artist to display so here is Now Or Never by her. This video, in my opinion, is terribly sexy. I don't know if it's just the theme of the video or her glasses or a combination of both. She is a UK native and is doing a single on her new album with Tinie Tempah....ya know...that UK sensation that I mentioned in my earlier blogs???? She has been a constant on the the UK grime and pop charts during 2010 and is becoming bigger and bigger as the new year envelopes. 

Travis Garland (of NLT)

Travis Garland is someone I think we all should get to know before he goes apeshit on the airwaves. You may recognize him because he is a former member of NLT who toured with Rihanna, and Timbaland produced some beats for them as well. The band broke up before they could get an album out. Funny enough, Perez Hilton has helped Travis resurface his career and his new single "Believe" was released this year on American Idol. Lupe Fiasco - The Show Goes On (video)

Lupe Fiasco.....LOL....not a new artist indeed but I haven't really put a TRUE Hip Hop artist on this blog quite yet so I figured who better than Mr. Fiasco himself. This video oozes what Lupe represents. It's a positive message and is just a really great video in general. It came out on video a couple weeks ago but I just discovered it so I hope its not a disappointment if you have already discovered it. I can only be in as many places as I can open tabs up on my web browser page will let me!!! HAHA ENJOY it friends!!!!

Damien Fernandez- Lying the Sun

Damien Fernandez is a super talented Australian native artist. His first EP came out in 2001 and he hasn't looked back since. He has been on stage with artists such as Naughty by Nature and Pitbull. His newest album to come out is called Killer Robots and is based mostly on his 80's music influences. Lying in the Sun is the newest song out right now as he is the hottest artist in Australia right now!!!

Modestep - Feelin' Good (video)

Modestep is a 4 piece live dustup band. They are from North London and their sound is absolutely "SIC"!!! This video isn't the most high tech of video's but the concept is pretty cool. I really look forward to seeing what they have to put out from here on out ... I was just happy they had an actual music video.

FM (Far East Movement) - 3D ft. Bruno Mars

The Far East Movement best known for its' "Like a G6" song that is out right now, but I think this song 3D really shows how different their beats can get. These guys create the coolest beats I've heard and everyone of them has a different cutting edge sound to it. When you add Bruno Mars to it....it HAS to be good. They are from L.A. and represent generations of Asian American decent and in 2010 were announced the opening act for Lady Gaga on her tour. Check out this song....I can only hope it becomes their next single!!!!!

FINALLY FOUND A GREAT EXAMPLE OF DUBSTEP MUSIC FOR YOU TO ENJOY. UNFORTUNATELY THIS SONG IS ONLY 2 1/2 MINUTES, BC I WISH IT WAS 10 MIN LONG. 

Gemini is a dustup artist that just stepped onto the UK scene. His real name is Thomas Slinger and is in his final year of ungraduate studies. His first album EP is "Blue" and will be later on released this year. Enjoy this song. It's not like anything you've ever heard!!!

Jamie Foxx ft. Drake - Fall For Your Type (video)

Jamie Foxx and Drake are definitely not brand new artists but this song has had more snippets than any song I've tried getting a full version for in a year. LOL I Was hoping when the full version and final version came out that it would be all Drake but was pleasantly surprised that it now was a Jamie Foxx ft. Drake track. Good Move because Drake is probably one of my favorite rappers of all time and the boy can sing. His analogies are the pinnacle of his rap style. Enjoy the video....it came out in the beginning of December. 

Audio ft. Akon - Magnetic (video)

A.U.D.I.O., who used to be P. Diddy's band B5, has been renamed and reinvented. Their new single is called Magnetic that features one of the biggest rappers/R&B artists on the planet Akon. The beat is very futuristic and has a kick ass baseline. I recently have been turning heads promoting this song so I am assuming it will be a hit if it isn't already on video charts somewhere. Check it out, I think the video is pretty cool too!!

Timati ft. Diddy Dirty Money - I'm On You (Video)

Timati is a Russian rapper who has been on tracks with Western artists since mid-2000's. Other artists such as Fat Joe and Mario Winans have had him featured on their CD's. This video came out a week or so ago as of the date of this post and is a good song. I'm assuming its been on music television but not many people know of it yet. Check it out cause P.Diddy wouldn't put his neck out for this guy if he didn't have something coming in the future to back it up here in the U.S. 

                     

Swedish House Mafia - Miami 2 Ibizia (remix ft. Tinie Tempah and Quincy Jagher)

The Swedish House Mafia isn't necessarily a brand new group of music producers, DJ's, performers that formed when they began touring together in 2000 but their big push into fame as a group came in 2008 in Ibiza, Spain. This is a Swedish power house group. Miami 2 Ibiza came out in 2010 with a music video ft. Tinie Tempah and could be found on MTV or BET music outlets but I put this song up because of the remix with Quincy Jagher who is becoming my new favorite "Taio Cruz" style artist. He is from St. Louis, where surprisingly I am not able to find a decent bio for. He is a bit more rough in some of his music selections such as "Crazy", "Mexico", and "Hangover" which I will post below this remix video. Look Quincy Jagher's (pronounced Jag'ah as he pronounces it) page up !!!! 

                                          

N-Dubz - Girls Music Video and "Morning Star/Living for the Moment" Tracks

N-Dubz are a British Hip Hop group out of London and have been around since 2000. From left to right the members are "Dappy", Tulisa, and Fazer who are currently signed to Def Jam and have a new album called Love Live Life and was released in 2010. There are quite a few songs on this album that are pretty good. The combination of rapping and the female vocals are smooth. Edward Maya ft. Vika Jigulina - Desert Rain (Video)

Edward Maya is a Romanian music producer/composer/performer and is probably better known for his hit in 2009 "Stereo Love" which reached 16 on U.S. billboard charts that year. His combination of native instruments and female vocals are a killer design for any music aficionado that likes a vocal techno style of music. This hit came out with "This is my Life" off of his Stereo Love Show CD and has created his own Mayavin Records Label. ENJOY!!!

Chipmunk ft. Chris Brown - Champion

Chipmunk is a up and coming UK Grime rapper who features Chris Brown in this song. The video is pretty sic and has a good beat....good message! Chipmunk is signed with Columbia records in the UK and has won a coupled awards for best new artist in 2009. Although I am featuring Chipmunk on this blog......Chris Brown KILLS the rap in the second verse.....I think you'll  like this !!!

Jawan Harris ft. Chris Brown - Another Planet

Jawan Harris ft. Chris Brown......MMMM This song should be a big video hit but probably wont be. The beat is real mysterious...."outta this world" pun intended. Jawan Harris is a young guy and with Chris Brown's help on the track he should get some big recognition. Let me know what you think ???

JLS ft. Tinie Tempah - Eyes Wide Shut

Here is a video that was just released featuring JLS and Tinie Tempah from the UK. This song is so great because of the "poppy" sound during the verses but the intro and chorus is where the song climax's. It is by far the best part. The video could be better but it's a great way to get introduced to this group. Tinie Tempah is hitting the U.S. pretty hard right now so you will hear much more of him in the future !!! Enjoy!!!

Mumzy Stranger - Fly With Me (video)

Mumzy Stranger is an R&B singer from the UK and this song was one I found awhile back and though it was a good start to my blog. Now, I realize that many of the artist I find are already signed to labels so when I put them up I am not claiming I "found" them .. I just don't think there are many common music listeners who know of these particular songs or artists. His style is very much like a Sean Paul (Jamaican reggae artist) is his rapping but uses autotune a decent amount much to this listeners satisfaction.

       My first blog is going to be informational. Just to give ya a little taste of what my interests are and what I would like to get out of this blog. My name is Jeremy and I live south of Pittsburgh, Pa. Music is a tough industry in this town....not much innovation...mostly radio play soothes the soul in clubs throughout the southside and station square clubs and bars. I constantly research musical artists in the U.S. and Europe looking for that "perfect combination" of beat and vocal talent. Hip hop isn't my primary love but is a love nonetheless. I usually have a folder on my desktop set aside for my distribution pleasure. Nothing entertains me like showing another music appreciator something fresh on the net that blows them away. There isn't much of a niche for music lovers' such as myself so I've decided to blog my interests in hopes to find like minded views. Although, I am not opposed to constructive criticism. I also welcome the sharing of websites and new styles of music similar to my posts to feed my cutting edge hunger.
      I am known for finding great beats and soothing music to my friends and socialites so I hope that you enjoy this blog and promote the artists in the same passion that I do.
